A 60 KM Drive from Sulthan bathery, Wayanad through the mighty Mysore forests, comprising of Muthanga Wildlife Sanctuary and then through the remote villages of Gundalpett, will take you to the abode of Lord Gopal Swami, located at a height of about 1200 feet from the sea level. It was 18years before that such torrential rains lashed the coveted honeymonn destination, Nainital. Flash floods and landslides made life miserable.
