GOPAL SWAMI PETTA

A 60 KM Drive from Sulthan bathery, Wayanad through the mighty Mysore forests, comprising of Muthanga Wildlife Sanctuary and then through the remote villages of Gundalpett, will take you to the abode of Lord Gopal Swami, located at a height of about 1200 feet from the sea level. En-route you can see the beautiful locations of many movies, the first one being Lal Jos' "Chandranudikkunna Dikkil"

This is a place where cold breeze always soothe your tired muscles. The spectacular view from the hilltop, fresh, cool air and the roaming elephants are all a feast to your soul. Relax, refresh and rejuvenate here. The lovely nature here have all the ingredients for that.

When leaving the hill in the evening your mind will not accompany you. It will stay back there at the footsteps of the Lord, leaving only your body to the noisy world beneath.

Waiting for the inevitable end, and intensely dreaming of a brown-eyed raindrop, the Red Lucky Seed closed its eyes again. Not a drop of rain came in search of the lonely and worthless seed, so insignificant as one of t...
